Council are not making roads safer

Thursday, 5th August 2021

• ONCE again Camden Council and Labour councillor Adam Harrison haven’t given a thought for disabled people who can’t walk far and need to use their cars to get to the shops in Haverstock Hill, and believe it or not there are people who do not want to cycle or use those dangerous e-scooters and people who cannot use them.

Camden Council want to make roads safer but cyclists and scooters are just as dangerous as cars. They don’t stop at lights they ride on pavements.

They have no consideration for pedestrians at all. I was under the impression when you used the roads you had to know the Highway Code.

If they are going to have their own lanes they should be paying road tax and insurance. Has anyone thought what will happen if they knock someone down? You are never going to stop people using cars.
