The loss of or a change in your normal sense of smell or taste – called anosmia – has been added to the list of coronavirus symptoms, alongside a new continuous cough and high temperature.

If you develop any of these symptoms you must self-isolate immediately for 7 days and all members of your household without symptoms must self-isolate for 14 days, unless you receive a negative test result.
