PUBLIC INFORMATION PAGES FROM CAMDEN COUNCIL

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness. The Council has been sharing your stories, as well as ways to care for your mental health, like:

  • Staying connected
  • Avoiding information overload
  • Having breaks from social media and devices
  • Keeping active
  • Making time for positive activities.

If you need support with your mental health you can speak to your GP who may refer you to further support. Contact Camden iCope at icope.nhs.uk to access short-term virtual support, and if you’re aged between 11 and 18, get free online support through Kooth at kooth.com

If you or someone you care for is at risk of taking their own life or harming themselves, you can get 24-hour support via the Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust crisis line on 020 3317 6333. If it’s an emergency, call 999.

Visit candi.nhs.uk and camden.gov.uk/mental-health-and-wellbeing for more information on support.

University College London is looking for people to take part in a study to understand the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing measures on mental health and loneliness in the UK. To find out more and take part, visit redcap.idhs.ucl.ac.uk/surveys/?s=48Y3T88CYK
