• IN relation to your report (Save our park! Fears keepers at historic park will be axed, February 10) I would like to add the following.

Some time ago already Coram’s Fields management betrayed its unique spirit. Children users were betrayed next, pushed out to make space for commercial renters.

The park was left to decay. Now the long-standing ground staff are betrayed. There is no level the so-called managers will not stoop to.

The usual excuses will be offered, no doubt. For our part, the local community has no more belief left for this management. Coram’s Fields deserves better.
