HS2 Rebellion in Granby Terrace near Euston

• FURTHER to the report (‘NHS not HS2’ banners unfurled as police called to sit down protest, May 21), we now know that Covid-19 is being linked to “deforestation, and loss of habitat for other species we share the world with, leading to a crossover of viruses”.

But this government is still not listening, putting wealth (for themselves) before health!

It is also not good enough, that the recent most serious allegations and criticism made against HS2 and the government, from the Public Accounts Committee, has only resulted in them having their wrists slapped, by being told that they must learn by their mistakes.

So how many more mistakes will it take before they learn their lesson?

And how much more fraud, lies and dishonesty can they keep getting away with, time and time again, before they finally use their common sense, and kill off this heinous monster, for the sake of the people of this country?

What is worrying, too, is that this constant, lying, underhand, and unscrupulous behaviour (as is continuing to be demonstrated with the government’s latest scandal) is that it undermines democracy, and the public’s faith in the governance of this country.

So please support the brave people who are continuing to fight this government’s fraudulent misconduct. And also support Chris Packham’s Stand For The Trees.
