Cobden Athletic celebrate their win over Langham Athletic at Hackney Marshes

PLAYERS from Cobden Athletic will spend the summer celebrating after coming from a goal down to beat Langham Athletic 2-1 to win the Bill Price Cup at Hackney Marshes. 

Having already won the Division One title, Dave “The Magic Man” Willis saw his side show the grit and determination of true champions as goals from Kaleb King and Steven Bruce turned the tie around to complete a league and cup double. 

The Camden Sunday League is looking for a volunteer to take over as fixtures secretary. Anyone interested should email sundayfooty@aol.co.uk with their details.
