• I HAVE lived near Queen’s Crescent most of my life. I do not understand the reason to close Grafton Road between Mansfield Road and Oak Village to Prince of Wales Road. There is more traffic now in Malden Road and therefore Prince of Wales Road.

Children and families continually use the playground adjacent to Prince of Wales Road and now there are more vehicle fumes. It has also become more difficult for disabled drivers to access the Kentish Town Sports Centre.

Councillor Marcus Boyland may have been walking around Queen’s Crescent on a Saturday when he found the support he claims for the scheme; there are at least six closed stores in Queen’s Crescent and very little business during weekdays.

Surely the bollards are hindering emergency services.
