Clear hedges and widen pavements
Friday, 22nd May 2020
• CAMDEN is actively looking to widen our pavements to make social distancing easier.
Many of our pavements are two metres wide, but so often the full width is not usable because householders have allowed their hedges, bushes and trees to grow over the pavement.
This used to be just anti-social but in the current coronavirus crisis it is now a safety issue.
I urge everyone to cut back their vegetation to the boundary of their property, take in their bins promptly and ensure that our pavements are free and easy to use.
