THE new football season might only be six weeks in, but Saturday’s showdown between West End FC and One Strike at Regent’s Park was already being billed as a title decider.
It’s unsurprising considering that both teams have lit up the Under-12s ‘A’ division of the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League with their silky skills and slick passing.
The top-of-the-table clash couldn’t have been more perfectly balanced, with West End boasting the meanest defence in the league, and One Strike boasting the most lethal attack.
Both sides had also made perfect starts to the season having won three games out of three. But which side was still smiling at the final whistle?
