Clark’s century wins vital points for Hampstead

A SUPER knock of 120 from skipper Steve Clark saw Hampstead beat title contenders Twickenham by 22 runs in the Premier Division of the Middlesex County League on Saturday.
The vital win places Hampstead in mid-table after they scored 251 all out from 56.3 overs after Twickenham won the toss and elected to bowl.
Ragheb Aga contributed to the home side’s total with a half-century off 57 balls.
In reply, the visitors could only reach 229 in 45.2 overs at Hampstead’s Lymington Road ground in West Hampstead.
Bowlers lift North off bottom spot
NORTH Middlesex are off the bottom of the table after a 10-point win over second placed Ealing on Saturday.
Evan Flowers top scored for North Midd with 25 as the home side reached a somewhat meagre 114 all out from 46 overs.
But Ealing struggled in reply as bowlers Ed Bird and Joel Hughes found form, limiting the title contenders to 107 all out in 32.4 overs.
