SWIM star Cindy Gholami (above) will be one of the youngest ever swimmers to tackle the 5km Swimathon next month.

The eight-year-old, who lives in Islington, will join thousands of fundraisers taking the plunge to raise cash for Sport Relief.

Aquaterra will be holding individual and team challenges at their Highbury Pool and Fitness Centre and the Cally Pool between Friday and Sunday March 21-23.

Simon Ibrahim, swimming co-ordinator at the Aquaterra Aquatics Academy, said: “From families, to experienced swimmers and beginners, Swimathon is a fantastic way to raise money for Sport Relief and improve health and fitness at the same time.”
