SINGLES champion Chris Heim put in a potting masterclass on Monday night.

Chris inspired Sir Robert Peel to a convincing 8-1 victory over the Golden Lion in division one of the Chalk Farm Pool League. 

With a potting success rate of approximately 70 per cent, he will be looking to finish the season as strongly as possible and climb up the overall players’ rankings. 

Monday’s singles win over the Lion’s Shaun Pollard certainly wouldn’t have done any harm, as he cleared the table in double-quick time. 

Peel’s eye-catching result was matched by nearest rivals Boston Arms, who beat Islington’s Green Man 8-1 in their latest outing. 

The defending champs won’t be too worried, however, as they still boast a 29-point advantage at the top of the table.
