How brave of him to speak out so frankly, in an age when we have to pussyfoot carefully around any issues that question the existence of, or belief in, God.

Children are not born with any “religious genes” – as far as I know.

Surely a child should be able to explore all knowledge in a free and open way. They can then decide for themselves if there is any rationale, validity for religion, or not.
