FORMER Parliament Hill School pupil Emma Hayes couldn’t hide her delight on Sunday after guiding Chelsea Ladies to their first-ever Women’s Super League title.

The Camden-born coach saw the Blues demolish Sunderland 4-0 in their final game of the season thanks to Fran Kirby’s brace and goals from Ji So-Yun and Gemma Davison, completing a remarkable league and FA Cup double.

Hayes, pictured with goalscorer Kirby and captain Katie Chapman, was quick to praise her side’s attacking prowess after seeing them crowned champions.

“That front four, when they get around the outside of teams and play very good football, they’re capable of beating any team in Europe,” she said.
