Check out the community impacts resilience fund
Friday, 19th November 2021
• CAMDEN’s voluntary sector has been essential in the effort against Covid-19.
But organisations have been telling me that the pandemic has taken a heavy toll on their income and, as a result, many are now facing fresh financial pressures.
I want to support Camden’s voluntary and community organisations to build back and flourish.
This is why Camden is launching a new grant support scheme for voluntary and community organisations worth £1.92million over the next two years, with £750,000 available right now through two grants.
This new pot of money will provide the financial help that the sector needs. It is easy to apply for, flexible, and can be used for day-to-day running costs.
The fund will also support organisations to build upon the newly-formed partnerships, networks, and innovation, which have been developed in response to Covid-19.
The pandemic has shown once again that our community is one that cares and that we come together in even the most difficult of circumstances.
I want to recognise this through this fund and give our voluntary sector the backing to continue delivering vital services and support within our communities.
I encourage all organisations to make an application to our Community Impacts Resilience Fund. The current application window closes on November 29.
We are writing to organisations with further details about the fund and hosting workshops to support organisations to make their applications. For more information and to make an application please visit the council website.
