• FOR readers frustrated by the lack of book borrowing available through Camden-run libraries, we invite you to join Keats Community Library in Hampstead.

As soon as we were permitted, in July, we reopened to borrowers with, of course, full Covid-19 precautions and social distancing. There is limited computer access and printing, as many depend on it.

Due to the need to quarantine books, we are currently open on Saturdays noon-4pm and Tuesdays 10pm-6pm. We plan to resume other days at a later date to get back to our 42 hours a week.

While fundraising continues to be a big issue for us, as a charity, we have not stopped buying.

Readers will find many brand new books on displays right by the entrance alongside our shelves of 20,000 titles of fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, audio books and DVDs.
