• HIGHGATE library Chess On Thursday is doing well. The sixty-four squares boards are becoming very popular.

Under the supervision of tutor James Costello (of Chess in Schools) the kids are amazing. It doesn’t take them long to learn clever moves. Adult players are equally keen.

It’s all very informal. All ages and levels welcome – no one is in competition. Just turn up. Every Thursday at 5.30pm.
