GOALS from JJ Connor, Charles Genovese and Lucas Panayi saw Chapel Youth beat The Hill 3-2 on Saturday in a five-goal thriller.

Having been 3-0 down The Hill came within a whisker of earning a point, but were thwarted by Chapel’s player-of-the-match Freddie Winfield who dug deep in defence.

The young cubs of Isledon Wolves enjoyed their morning kick-about at Market Road on Saturday as they netted a 3-2 win over Regent’s Park.

George Bennett scored twice, his second coming courtesy of an excellent pass from Oscar Phillips.

Oscar grabbed the winner late on after Regent’s Park had twice pegged Wolves back. Goalkeeper Tylan Ekrem was named Wolves star player after making a string of brilliant stops.

ISLEDON Wolves recorded a 4-0 win over Somers Town Futures despite not really playing well in their latest outing.

Bassam Menhal hit two, while Ibrahim Rashid scored his first for the club. Gio Boffa wrapped up the win when he headed home Andrew Mason’s inch-perfect cross.

HOTSHOT Emmanuel Brade-Matthews scored a hat-trick as Chapel Youth notched-up an impressive victory on Saturday.

Louie Mac bagged a brace, while Jody Ridley capped a player-of-the-match display with a goal as Chapel ran out 6-1 winners over Queen’s Park Sharks.

A Majestic second-half goalkeeping showby from Aiden Kaye secured another win for high-flying West End on Saturday.

West were three up at the break thanks to a brace from Shay Blackwood and a neat finish from Aiden, who spent the first half outfield.

Opponents The Hill came back strongly after the restart and could have got back into the tie with two second-half penalties. However, they hadn’t bargained on the goalkeeping skills of player-of-the-match Aiden, who pulled off two immense saves.

West End captain Freddie Geraghty scored late on to add the finishing touches to a 4-0 win.
