Champions Wolves grab four more

THE goals were flying in at Market Road this week as teams in the Youth League tackled the business end of the season.

Champions Isledon Wolves Channons are ending their campaign in the Under-13s ‘B’ division in style as they recorded their 17th win in 19 games.

Mo Asam grabbed a brace as Wolves beat Crown and Manor 4-0 on Friday.

Hayden Miller, fit again after injury, scored a great solo goal while playmaker Ruben Lourenco was also on target.

Goals from Herbie Lea-Bramble and Keiron Loughney also saw Wolves pick up three points in the Under-14s division courtesy of a 2-1 victory over St John’s Wood.

In the Under-16s division Daniel Leonard scored twice as Lyndhurst Eagles came from 3-1 down to beat Somers Town. James Dill and James Clare were also on target for the Eagles as they soared to a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Club-mates Lyndhurst Lions also won a thriller as they beat FDS 3-2 with two goals from Shane Rice and a neat finish from Brody Walters.
