• INSTEAD of attacking the life-saving ULEZ policy of London’s Labour mayor, Danny Beales (and Sir Keir Starmer) would do well to wonder how they drove away over 4,500 people who voted for the Labour candidate in the Uxbridge constituency in 2019.

It’s possible that challenging the Tory lies about ULEZ and defending the Green New Deal, as Sir Keir promised when he stood for the leadership, might have prevented the evaporation of a quarter of the Labour vote.
