• YOU report on the opening of a private GP practice at the Royal Free Hospital, (November 15). Together with the removal of NHS out-patient referrals to Chase Farm, this will free up space for further private provision of health services.

This situation must be challenged. The chief executive must state the objectives regarding the stealth privatisation of the hospital of which he is responsible. The buck stops with him and his fellow board of governors.
