ALL the talk around the tables in the Chalk Farm Pool League on Monday night was about premier potter Danny Fry after he helped England win the European Championships.

The Boston Arms player (pictured) won three of his four matches as England’s Under-23s B1 team came from 8-3 down to beat Scotland 13-10 in the semi-finals. Fry continued his hot streak in the final as he potted the black in four of his five matches to earn a 13-10 win over the England B2 team.

To make things even sweeter, the Boston Arms beat Islington’s Cousins Elite 5-1 to book a place against Sir Robert Peel in the final of the Liam Tarrant Cup.
