THE Chalk Farm Pool League is calling on teams from across Camden and Islington to sign up for Monday nights of socialising and silverware.

Among the teams celebrating this season were Sir Robert Peel ‘A’, who were crowned Division One champions, and the Boston Rimmers (pictured above) who won the Division Two title.

“The league is a brilliant way for pool players to compete and improve their skills in a social, friendly, atmosphere,” said Shaun  Pollard, chairman of the Chalk Farm Pool League committee.

“Winning trophies is fantastic, but it’s not the only thing this league is about. It’s very much a social night out. Every player wants to win  their matches, but most of us are in it to have a laugh and a few drinks with our mates.”
