Care Support are a valued partner to the council
Thursday, 27th July 2023
• I AM writing in response to the article about Mora Burnet House (In-house care service is good news, July 13) referring to a decision made by Camden Council’s cabinet on July 12.
The cabinet agreed that the care provision at Mora Burnet House will be run by the council and a wellbeing model of care will be developed there.
I am writing to clarify that this decision by the council is not motivated by concerns about the quality of care that has been delivered by Care Support at Mora Burnet since they were awarded the contract.
Care Support staff have delivered high quality care to the residents at Mora Burnet House, and we are confident they will continue to do so until the transition to “in-house” provision.
Care Support are a valued partner to the council. Council officers will be working closely with Care Support and Origin Housing over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition so that the best possible care is delivered for residents at Mora Burnet House.
