• CAMDEN Council’s roofing contractors leave much to be desired. They will not remove all the leaves from roof gutters that cause blockages.

The favourite (and extraordinary) excuse they just love to use is: “It’s the trees’ fault”.

Yes leaves are falling everywhere in Camden early because of the lack of rain in past months and the heatwave.

But surely it is up to Camden Council, as the landlord to get their contractors to unblock and keep gutters clear from leaves and debris.

Do they expect tenants to get their own ladders long enough to reach the roof and do it themselves?

The answer to that is most probably as it will save Camden from doing a half-done job every time.
