Camden’s new system deliberately tricks residents into paying unfair fines when parking permits expire

• MY complaint is about Camden not sending residents reminders that their parking permits are about to run out.
As a result they get penalty notices without knowing their permits expired. I find that highly disappointing.
In the past physical permits were issued to a resident where it was straightforward to see when a permit was about to run out. Furthermore in the past Camden issued email reminders.
As a result, residents believe a reminder will be sent, but then receive a parking penalty notice. That happened to me. I appealed but it was denied on the grounds that Camden is under no obligation to issue renewal reminders.
Complain about Camden’s system, which tricks residents into paying unfair fines. Sure, there is no legal obligation for reminders. So why were these sent in the past?
It looks as if Camden creates this situation intentionally. I do not think this is the way Camden should treat its residents.
