Chikezie Nnadi

• THE removal of the face of Chikezie Nnadi from the video promoting Camden’s bid for the London Borough of Culture is the unkindest cut of all.

Here is a man who does not sit and beg. Instead, he gives out spiritual gifts to all who pass in the noise and squalor of the streets – where I found him with a copy of your report (I didn’t get paid for video, says star with smiling face, August 24) beside him.

I said: “You see what happens…” Chikezie said: “When you give out love…”

There speaks the voice of true culture from the street where the heart of humanity beats. Let’s not waste any more time or human potential by leaving it on the street. If Camden Council has not already done so, I appeal to them to give Chikezie a home.
