Camden sees fly-tipping day after day

Bins on pavement in Eton Avenue

Bins left on the pavement instead of being returned to the space in Eton Avenue

• YOU want to know why Camden is the worst borough in London for fly-tipping? Because Camden Council’s rubbish contractor Veolia does it, day after day!

Here’s a recent example, pictured above, showing bins left on the pavement instead of being returned to the space behind the wall. This is in Eton Avenue, where the rubbish bins lie around for days after collection day; as in every other street in Camden.

Sack them or make a new contract so they do the job which has been done in the borough for decades.

And, while you are here, will whomever is responsible for waste collections (Note please: meric.apak@camden.gov.uk) please tell me the average amount of money that Camden Council paid for waste collection in 2010-2015 versus 2015-2020?
