• FURTHER to Linda Grove’s letter (It’s so messy, June 20), advising readers to express their views to Councillor Tom Simon, may I, as one of his fellow Liberal Democrat councillors, endorse this and remind people that it is always valuable to us to have your views about issues affecting you, and if there is anything we might be able to help you with, we will try?

Also to remind everyone that despite the election, council business continues and where you have councillors who do listen and act, please get in touch.

But also please do vote!

While it is exciting potentially to have the next prime minister as one of the Camden MPs, remember that our MPs are here to serve; and make sure you vote for those like the Liberal Democrats who will listen to you and act on your behalf.

Yes, they work on a national stage, but our Camden MPs will also have a responsibility to us in Camden!
