A SUPER squad of 34 gymnasts from Camden Gym Club ended their season with a mighty medal haul after showing off their skills at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre, Dagenham.
Competing in the White, Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold Club Competition, the youngsters returned home with 14 medals and 12 pins to show for their efforts on the floor and vault.
Joshua Privat, Jasmine Steyne, Sadie Levi, Angelica Sacrepaye, Dahlia Bjorkland, Courtney Jeriamiah and Kai Hoyte all put in great performances to secure gold medals.
There was also silver success for Daniel Cheung, Jason Privat and Tabitha Stoecker, while Mariah Steele, Jolyon Michael, Rebecca Harding, Sophie Boehler and Callum Wallis all bagged bronze medals.
It was an amazing return for the club, which is based in Dalby Street, Kentish Town, especially considering 18 of the 34 gymnasts were competing for the first time.
Their coach, Fay Matthews, who trains the youngsters alongside Gemma Marnez, said: “They all worked really hard, and put loads of effort in.
“It was a great way to end the season.”
