A TRIO of top talents from Camden Fencing Club dominated the podium at the Sevenoaks Cadet Sabre Tournament on Saturday.
Rubin Amsalem beat team-mate Jack Horrix 15-13 in the final of the competition, which is the last nominated event on the domestic circuit.
Despite an injury, Jacob Gander-Compton defeated Jonathon Webb in the last eight before succumbing to Rubin in the semi-finals to complete a top-three finish for Camden.
Rubin, Jack, Jacob and Jonathon also enjoyed the chance to gain valuable international experience when they travelled to France to represent the National Academy in the men’s sabre.
Despite missing out on the individual medals, the boys did extremely well to guide Great Britain to the finals of the team events, where they narrowly lost 45-43 to a very experienced Belgium team.
