• I’D like to reinforce John Chamberlain’s letter in praise of the current Camden Draft Transport Strategy consultation, (Get involved with Camden’s draft transport strategy, November 29).

What I really applaud is Camden’s new health-orientated approach and focus on creating liveable, walkable, safe neighbourhoods for residents. This is a breath of fresh air – in both senses.

The document is a constructive, uplifting read ­– a welcome contrast to the endless depressing political shenanigans over Brexit. The consultation is open until December 14.
