Edith Neville Primary School
• I WAS disappointed to read the negative and prominent coverage given to an old story about Edith Neville primary school in Somers Town, (Why did 30 staff quit school? April 27).
Edith Neville is rated “good” by Ofsted and is currently recruiting for a new headteacher. In the meantime the school is being ably run by its deputy and her senior team.
Camden Council thinks highly of the school which is an important member of our family of schools and we are investing in a completely new building for the school through our Community Investment Programme.
I am confident that the school has a bright future and would like to emphasise that the school community, governors and staff have the full support of Camden Council as it moves forward.
