Camden and Veolia are so badly organised

• CAMDEN Council and their refuse contractors Veolia are so very badly organised.

I ordered the orange refuse sacks several weeks ago. Now the new regime has started. Sadly, I never received any sacks.

I can think of two reasons for this: they missed me out or they could not get the package through my letter box, so left them on the front steps and someone has taken them. The delivery person could have opened the plastic bag and popped two smaller lots through my letterbox.

I can see that I am not the only house. Four or five houses are without the orange refuse sacks. Maybe they, too, have smallish letterboxes.

I phoned Veolia. I was on hold for 27 minutes and 58 seconds (I checked my phone bill). Bobby assured me that he will sort this out. Let us hope he is a man of his word.

This is totally ridiculous. While walking past an open yellow sack I could clearly see a black plastic refuse bag inside. Does this really cut down our waste in any way?
