Camden and community wardens deserve praise for dealing with a difficult incident

Thursday, 30th March 2017

• ON March 14 my mother and I were walking along Camden High Street when I saw a gentleman lying in a pool of blood in a doorway of a convenience store.

The gentleman looked like he had been attacked and was in serious trouble. There was a gentleman with a broken bottle next to the injured person.

A couple of the council’s community wardens attended to the injured man. One of the wardens stopped the gentleman being further attacked.

I would like to commend the community wardens on the bravery and calmness in which they dealt with this difficult and stressful situation.

The following day I was in a café near to where the attack took place and I noticed two different community wardens enter the shop.

I could overhear the wardens asking about the welfare of the injured gentleman.

This is great work by Camden and it’s good to see someone is making us residents feel safe. Well done Camden!
