Call off the bailiffs, I did nothing wrong
Thursday, 29th October 2020
• IN December I parked just by Mill Lane post office in West Hampstead in order to take over 200 A4 sized calendars to post.
One bag was for recorded delivery so I parked and took that bag first. When I got back to the car to collect the next batch to put in the collection bags I had received a parking ticket.
It must have been placed seconds after I left therefore the traffic warden must have seen me rummaging in the car and taking bags out.
I emailed Camden parking services and said I used the loading bay correctly and needed to return several times to collect the bags which were on the back seat. I copied the receipt for the first bag of post, the rest were stamped already.
I have never heard back from them, yet they are sending bailiffs’ letters every month. I really cannot deal with this at present. Have any other readers experienced something like this where the space was used for the right purpose?
