Not music to all ears

• I USED to enjoy visiting Camden Town to shop, to meet friends for lunch, to have a night out. No more.

The music from buskers at the main Camden road junction is so loud that it hurts my eardrums. The same songs being played on a loop by almost all of them drives me crazy, even if I am only walking through the junction.

Despite being a music lover – having worked at both The Roundhouse and Union Chapel – I now avoid the area like the plague.
