Breakdown of communication and of the lift in our block

Thursday, 14th September 2017

• AT a time when communication with residents is of such importance, it is worth drawing attention to Camden Council’s failure in this respect.

In my building of 12 flats the lift broke down over a week ago, leaving residents, some of whom are elderly and others with young children or mobility issues, without lift access.

Camden has not provided any communication or even a response to the reported problem. Not a single letter or notice to let us know the situation, simply silence and a closed lift door.

The lack of basic courtesy and failure to communicate with residents over an issue of access and safety shows either incompetence or a lack of respect for those who depend upon Camden as their landlord.
