IT was just like old times when Arsenal legend Liam Brady joined a team of Highbury heroes on Saturday to celebrate a stunning cup victory in front of cheering fans. 

This time, however, it was the young hotshots from Highbury Wolves, who fired their way to glory in the Camden and Islington Midweek Youth League Under-8s Development Cup at Market Road. 

Having battled their way to the final, the talented side got their hands on the cup courtesy of a thrilling 3-1 victory. 

Skipper Eddie Emmanuel Wright led by example as he got in among the goals, while Ricky Pereira and Bobby Burrows were also on target. After watching the action unfold, Brady wasted little time picking out his star player. “Eddie was definitely the standout player. Not only was he Highbury’s captain, but he was the best player of the tournament.”
