Under-9s A Division
GOALS from Tom Bacon and Cameron Rennie saw Primrose Hill net a 2-0 win over Crown and Manor on Friday at Market Road in the Camden & Islington Youth League
Overall it proved a tremendous weekend for the under-9s side (pictured) as they beat Stoke Newington FC 8-0 on Saturday in the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League.
Star striker Rennie led the goal-charge with a stunning hat-trick.
A SUPERB last-minute strike from Rees Jones handed Lyndhurst all three points against Pro Touch on Friday.
Goalkeeper Harry Ward put in a player-of-the-match display as Lyndhurst held out for a 1-0 victory to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
Under-10s A Division
TABLE toppers St Pancras battled back to earn a point against Belsize Youth on Friday in a pulsating 1-1 draw.
Having gone a goal down, the Saints sprung into life with Charlie Clarke, Taylor Peck, Ardi Canolli and Sol Staggs all going agonisingly close.
In the end it was Peck who found the deserved equaliser when he smashed a stunning 20-yard shot into the top corner.
St Pancras had gone into the game in confident mood having beaten Primrose Hill 3-2 in their previous game.
The Saints took the lead with a breathtaking team goal which saw clever play between Alex Harris, Canolli, and Staggs end with Charlie Clarke slotting the ball home.
Peck proved the match-winner as he grabbed two vital goals in a thrilling second-half that saw the Saints clinch three valuable points.
Under-10s B Division
WINGER Billy Flynn inspired Isledon Wolves to a clinical 3-1 victory over Regent’s Park on Monday.
Sammi Zenagui opened the scoring for Wolves with a super finish after beating three defenders.
Flynn’s instrumental wing-wizardry then led to further goals for Lewis Christie and Zenagui.
Under-12s A Division
ISLEDON Wolves remain five-points clear at the top following their 3-1 win over Somers Town on Friday.
Ethan Irvine gave Isledon the lead, before the superb Ryan Ward grabbed the goal his tireless work up front deserved.
Somers Town pulled a goal back, but a neat finish from Bradley Carette wrapped up the points for the league leaders.
Under-14s Division
HOTSHOT Danny Leonard scored twice as Lyndhurst came from a goal down to beat Regent’s Park on Friday.
Jack Madden put in a man-of-the-match display as Lyndhurst showed tremendous battling spirit to net a priceless 2-1 victory.
Beyond the Borough
LOCOMOTIVE Youth eased to their third win of the season on Sunday when they beat Ryan FC 5-1 in the Premier Division of the Under-15s Cheshunt Youth League.
It took the Camden-based side just six-minutes to open the scoring when the team’s leading scorer EJ Gyebi poked the ball home from close range.
Skipper Euan Taylor-Reid made it 2-0, before Gyebi claimed his second of the game when he latched onto a superb through ball from Ryan Salter.
Arran Hammond made it four when he lobbed the Ryan keeper, before birthday-boy Lee Houghton rounded off the scoring.
