ST PANCRAS ABC can look forward to “a bigger and better” future after their second annual dinner show was hailed as a roaring success.
More than 350 fans packed the London Irish Centre in Camden Square to watch an action-packed 12-bout showpiece.
They saw top Saints junior Bilal Bakali crowned home fighter of night after winning his three round contest, while newcomers Bruno Tampo and Kai Warren (pictured above with coach Ray Ball) made their debuts for the Kentish Town-based club.
Head coach CJ Hussein said: “The evening went really well. We had seven fighters on the show, and although five lost I wasn’t disappointed. All the fights were evenly matched and there were some very close calls.
“Amateur boxing is all about experience, and they'll learn from their defeats, train harder and come back as better boxers.
“I want to thank all the coaches, their hard work made the show a huge success and is the reason the club can look forward to a bigger and better future.”
