WITH September signalling the end of the school holidays most children are far from in a rush to cross the days off their calendar.

But for boxing brothers Bilal and Sohaib Bakali the month can’t come quick enough as they count down to the start of the new season.

The St Pancras Boxing Club siblings, who live in Queen’s Crescent, were both in action at the Minors Tournament in Hayes.

After winning his first ever fight beaming Bilal, 12, who goes to William Ellis School, said: “I can’t wait for my next fight, this is just the beginning.”

Despite losing his first two fights younger brother Sohaib, 11, who goes to Rhyl Primary School, was hungry to step back between the ropes.

“I’m not going to give up. I’m confident that I’ll win my next fight,” he said.
