A BIG break from Kevin Howard helped the Boston Arms continue their perfect start to the season in Division One of the Chalk Farm Pool League on Monday.
The premier potter (pictured) cleared the table off the break in the final frame to wrap up a 7-2 victory over the Golden Lion.
The result leaves Boston Arms on 75 points having won all eight of their league games so far.
Sir Robert Peel are still top of the table with 84 points, however, having won more frames than their title rivals.
The defending champions are clearly going to take some stopping as they made it eight wins out of eight with a resounding 9-0 victory over Slattery’s Squatters.
The clash of the night came in Division Two where Holloway’s Cousins Elite beat league leaders Peckwater TA 6-3 to reignite the title race.
With The Boot also winning there is now just two points separating the top three sides.
