THE body of a man has been recovered from the mixed pond at Hampstead Heath.

Police were called to the pond at 6.30am this morning (Friday).

A male was recovered from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Met said at this stage the death is being treated as non-suspicious.

Formal identification is yet to take place, the spokeswoman added.
