After an establishment panic attack, they’re blaming Brexit

‘A general election is looming which everyone is dreading because of the ghastly choice we are going to have to make’
• THE ruling classes were so unhinged by Brexit that they were in no fit state to deal with the subsequent coronavirus and suffered a collective panic attack.
Now, as they stand among the rubble and the dust, gormlessly surveying the carnage wrought by their insane attempt to curfew the entire population and halt all economic activity, they have decided to blame Brexit!
I wonder what their counterparts in the 200 or so countries that had nothing to do with Brexit are shifting the blame for their lockdown carnage onto.
A general election is looming which everyone is dreading because of the ghastly choice we are going to have to make, and because nothing can change while the architects of our downfall remain the only game in town.
Some form of proportional representation might help… but not necessarily. And it isn’t going to happen anyway as long as the present system provides life-support for the two skeletal spectres that have been propping each other up for decades.
