PLAYERS from Ryan FC were celebrating at the weekend when they beat Wandle Wanderers 4-1 in the London County Cup to extend their unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.

The Camden-based side took the lead within three minutes when Jake Casey won a header from a Wandle throw-in, allowing EJ Gyebi to smash home a stunning half volley. Ryan opened up a 2-0 lead at the break thanks to a clinical finish from Charles Prince, who slotted the ball past the keeper after good work from Gyebi and Reuben Hinkson.

The game was killed off within 12 minutes of the restart thanks to Bilal Sayoud’s creativity and vision. First he played a wonderful round-the-corner pass for Gyebi to score his second of the game. Then Sayoud played in George Yianni to complete the scoring for Ryan.
