• OVER the past few days there have been reports of mobile phone robberies happening in and around the Hampstead area.

On all of the occasions there were two perpetrators in this act, one distracts you by tapping or pushing you, the other takes the mobile phone. They are using a moped and they drive on the pathway.

This happens so quick that you are left in shock of what has happened. These incidents have been seen at Whitestone Pond, South End Green, Rowland Hill Street and Hampstead High Road.

These youths target people that are waiting at bus stops and they come from nowhere. Please be vigilant.
