Bertha “Betty” Shane, née Shayngesicht, as a young woman

• IT was sad to see that in the story about Betty Shane née Shayngesicht (Pensioner who died in fire had escaped Nazis who killed father, June 29) – you omitted to remind your readers that the amazing Betty was Jewish and buried with a full minyan at Bushey Jewish cemetery.
