Better with wrought iron
Thursday, 28th March 2019
• I AM writing about the unsightly entrances to King’s Cross station – two “sheds” on the far side of Euston Road, one outside McDonald’s, the other outside Barclays Bank, and a third on the station side of the road.
Did London Under-ground and Camden Council not consider the traditional and less intrusive entrances of wrought iron presently outside Piccadilly and Oxford Circus stations?
These entrances (in my view) are more pleasing to look at and take up less room on the pavement. If others agree perhaps we could make a combined effort for change.
