Better use of the community garden would help bring people together

• CAMDEN should be proud of the Bassett Street Community Garden and replicating it across the borough instead of closing it down to replace it with a private garden for a select few.

Two summers ago the Jo Cox memorial event was held in the garden, attracting visitors from all over Camden.

Why can’t the central area be upgraded by using the £8,000 currently intended to demolish the plots, to create a space (where the unsightly temporary boiler has been parked for far too long) where everyone can come together again, rather than dividing us in this unfortunate way?
